By bzbeth 21 Apr 2017

With the arrival of warm weather and the sun finally warming those pale cheeks, it's time to grab the BBQ and head to the park!

Here are the top 10 essentials for a successful BBQ in the park or your garden...

  1. BBQ

For an all-day grilling sesh, you're going to need some kind of barbecue. Whether you want one that's a gas burner or disposable, you can usually get one at your local supermarket.
  2. Cool drinks
Having a BBQ usually means lots of booze and fizzy drinks that you're going to want to keep cold, so ice and a cooler are a good investment.
  3. Meat
Burgers, hot dogs, prawns, chicken, and steak (or veggie options) are essential! You don't have to have all of them, but it's always best to have options throughout the day...
  4. Portable speakers
Every great BBQ needs some music, and because you're outside, speakers are a must!
  5. Buns and toppings

  6. Blanket
Most likely, you'll be in the grass, so a blanket not only claims your 'turf' but gives you a clean place to sit as well.
  7. Sides

Tongs, bin bags, plates, and forks are all good things to remember if you actually want to cook and eat the food...
